The Optimist Club of Smyrna is an affiliate of Optimist International and incorporated in the State of Georgia as a nonprofit service club. Hundreds of youth in Smyrna are helped by the Optimist Club's projects and programs.

Junior Golfers and Friends of Junior Golfers,
This year the Smyrna Optimist Club will hold our annual qualifying tournament on Tuesday May 29 at Dogwood Golf Course in Austell GA. This is open to Junior Golfers, boys and girls, ages 10 to 18.
The Georgia District event will be on June 25 in Dawsonville this year.
Four of the last five years a winner from the Smyrna Optimist Golf event has gone to the Georgia District Event and have qualified for the International Tournament at the PGA National Course in West Palm FL.
